The 2nd Much "MO" Bettah!

Tornado Alley 110

July 12th, 2008

Schifferdecker Park, Joplin MO.

Due to the devastating tornados ripping through our area (and route) on May 10, 2008
we are donating a portion of the Tornado Alley 110 proceeds
to the red cross to help aid those affected.
Our prayers are with them.

1 day, 3 routes:
  • F5110(ish) miles of rolling Ozark hills touching the four states of MO, OK, AR, KS!
  • F3 - 77(ish) miles - like the 110 but with 3 states - MO, OK, & KS and with fewer miles!
  • F130(ish) miles - like the 77 but with 2 states - MO & KS and without all those pesky miles! Who could ask for more?

  •  But wait!!! There's  more!

  • It's the "Incredible Hill Loop"as an extra added bonus this year, We are offering AN OPTIONAL and very scenic hill loop!  Our lucky loop riders get to climb one of the most challenging hills in the Joplin area. This loop is very scenic, taking you through McClelland Park, alongside Shoal Creek, across Low Water Bridge, past Grand Falls, and up what we call "Falls Hill".  Wow! It's a doozey!  You're gonna love it!  This hill is not for the faint of heart; we ask that only those confident in their hill climbing ability attempt this one.  (We wanted to serve Mimosas [champagne and orange juice] at the top of the hill, but got out voted by the committee - darned committees!) Get geared up and get ready, it's a beautiful loop! Well worth the effort.
